Very Rare WHARTON PAN 1840s Daguerreotype Photo Girl RICHARD BEARD England 1800s pair This is a clear glassNinth plate daguerreotype of a girl, mat stamped "Beard" "Patentee". Sealed, with a rare Wharton's brass pan mat, which was made in the United Kingdom under Wharton's patent of 24 August 1841 which makes this an early dag.. maybe circa 1842. Dag is in very good antique condition. Leather, flip top case is complete with separated covers. The railed in the upper right corner are separating a bit but still stable.
