c1980 Yves Saint Laurent Red Silk Dot Day Dress designer-james-galanos Item# DD1070I suspect that this was from the 1980 Rive Gauche collection as it is eerily similar in design and cut to the 1979 Haute Couture version I have had in recently (see that one here). The dress is amazing and a classic Yves Saint Laurent cut and silhouette. The silk is of the highest possible grade and I adore the red and white dot pattern. It has a very 40s throwback feel and is very chic. The top is loose fitting and the sleeves slightly voluminous
