Theres a slightly waxy texture with hints of smoked almonds and honeysuckle, derived from the old pink skinned Madeira clone and partial maturation in seasoned French barriques. The acidity is tangy and needle like, cleansing the finish and giving the wine a firm, tighter structure compared to previous vintages. With age, it
